Konosuba is a Japanese and one of the most popular Anime television series that was first released on 14 January 2016 and became a massive hit. After the first season of the series received huge popularity from animation lovers, the show was renewed, and season 2 was released after one year on 12 January 2017. Now fans are very much excited for another season of their favorite anime. The anime lovers are very keen to know its release date.
Konosuba Season 3 Release Date, Time, And Storyline
Well, it was expected earlier that Konosuba Season 3 would come out sometime in the year 2022. However, these were just speculations. Now it is predicted that the season will come out in January 2023. So, we will have to wait to see when it will be released or until the official news. Till now, there is no trailer available for season 3 so far.
Konosuba is a comedy Isekai anime series with fantasy elements. Two of the seasons of the series have premiered with Jun Fukushima and Sora Amamiya as the main characters. Both the seasons have ten episodes.
There are also two OVAs and a movie. The film was released in 2019 and named KonoSuba: Legend of Crimson and was a continuation of the second season. It is not known whether the third season will start with it or not, but it is a good idea to watch the film beforehand.
Konosuba Storyline
The story is about Kazuma Sato, a high school student who does not have much connection with the world and does not care about anything. One day he meets the goddess Aqua who asks him to walk in the same world equal as his. And the teenager finds himself shut in NEET with the worst party members. And to return to his world, now he has to defeat the devil king, together with his squad: the archpriest, goddess Aqua, archwizard Megumin, and the crusader Darkness. On the way, two young girls fall in love with him.
Currently, four volumes of the short novel series are finished, and anime novel readers might be aware of the fact that there are a total of 17 volumes of Konosuba. Also, the writer indicates that he might add more stories to the show in the future. Kosuba series lovers are interested in watching the introduction of new characters in the series.
Are Kazuma and Megumin dating?
In the short novel series, Kazuma and Megumin start dating each other secretly after the 14-year old archwizard admits her feelings for him. But later, the Darkness also confessed her feelings for Kazuma after he saved her from an arranged marriage. From that day, it became known to the group that Darkness had fallen in love with him.

Konsuba’s novel is written by Natsume Akatsuki, who completed it on 1 May 2020 by releasing the final 17th volume in Japan. However, the anime series has covered up to 4th volume in 2 seasons and will continue further.
