Ryan Pemberton, a respected member of NASCAR community, winner of Cup series win, Xfinity series, died at the age of 54.
Who was Ryan Pemberton?
Ryan Pemberton’s racing career began in 1988 and he was a veteran crew chief and competition manager at NASCAR who was with the company through five national series wins and more than 600 starts. As per the official site of NASCAR.
Pemberton was most recently the director of competition at JR Motorsports, where he held the post from 2012 to 2022.
The CEO JR Motorsport, Kelley Earnhardt said about Ryan, “He had such a passion for competition and, as a leader, knew how to motivate everyone he worked with. He will always be part of the JRM family. Our hearts go out to his wife Andrea and daughters Payton and Britton during this tremendously difficult time.”
Ryan moved to the NASCAR Cup Series in 1997, before which he was the crew chief of what is now called as the Xfinity Series.
Ryan Pemberton was a prominent and respected member of the crews he had been part of; as he gained respect in the very craft he used to perform, and thus, the series mentioned that Ryan Pemberton would always be remembered for who he was and whatsoever he did to reach such heights in life.
