The game Dookie Dash was announced by Yuga Labs, a blockchain technology company. It is a skill-based web game that requires NFTs to play and score points. As per the reports, the company has been keeping gamers on the hook with promises of mega rewards although the exact rewards have not been published yet.
With the announcement of the game plans Yuga Labs is seeing a hike in the sales of Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT and other related projects.
As of the available estimates, the game Dookie Dash would be available to play within a web browser. It would be designed in an endless running mode where the players would be challenged to move to the farthest they can go.
While going forward there would be objects mid-air to pick up and collect and this should be done without crashing anywhere. The gamer can view the background of the game similarly to a cartoonish sewer environment.
The launch of the game was made official through the official Twitter page of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, the handle with the username BoredApeYC. It was posted at 5:54 AM on Jan 12. In a thread of tweets, the post first informed about the soon-coming game.
The community was addressed as apes and the fellow apes of the Ape app were asked to stretch their eyeballs and warm up their scroll muscles and rolled on to tell that lot of new info about next week are waiting in the announcement.
It said that short version: monkey butthole, Sewer Pass January 17, skill-based mint begins January 18, new power sources.
It continued that the video explainer would come soon and the tweet also included a link to the website, on the platform for those who are interested to find out more about the game.
The image that was shared along with the first tweet portrayed multiple live figures standing and looking down at a certain spot on the ground where it was lit in a circle.
The image contained the highlighted words that read GET READY TO DOOKEY DASH. Between the letters, the second ‘O’ and ‘K’ there was a 3D image of a key that had the face of a monkey.
In a continuing tweet, it was added that the company would kick off Dookey Dash on January 18. The game was referred to as a skill-based minting experience through the BAYC sewer.
According to the details available from the tweet, it instructed that the gamers would need a pass, a Sewer Pass, to get in and the free claim for the Sewer Pass would open on the day before the kick-off of the game. It was further added that only BAYC/ MAYC holders can claim Sewer Passes, but anyone with a Sewer Pass could play.

The Sewer Pass claim and the skill-based Dookie Dash would close on Feb 8th and the exact time of the closing has not been informed yet. It also said that the game would get unlimited plays, but they would be entitled to play at least once and score more than 0 to validate their Sewer Pass which would be tied to the wallet that holds it.
The validated Sewer Passes would be eligible to transform into a mysterious new power source on Feb 15th. It was assured that the date is 15 Feb and that it should not be confused with Feb 8 as the latter was the date set earlier for the reveal.
The dog prophet of the platform, Gary would be watching over the activities in the sewer. The Sewer Passers would have to compete with themselves for getting the highest score and the one who becomes the winner could earn the new power source.

The winner would be the one who would have the highest single run score on the specific Sewer Pass and accompanied wallet that achieved the run.
The gamers who were confused about the power source were given an answer to that. In a tweet thread, it read that the power source would be summoned by the dog prophet, Gary.
The score of every player would be based on what they collect in their run in the sewer, the obstacles that they would have to knock down, and the period that they survive without failing.
The tweet concluded by directing the players to frequently check the official pages of the creators to get the latest updates about the game and the Sewer Pass.
