A woman was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for allegedly attacking actor Charlie Sheen at his Malibu home on Wednesday afternoon. The neighbour of Sheen was taken into custody after being accused of assaulting the actor in his residence this week. The woman is scheduled to appear in court.
According to law enforcement sources speaking to TMZ, the LASD (Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department) was called to Charlie’s Los Angeles residence on Wednesday due to a dispute with a neighbour.
Reportedly, a 47-year-old woman, identified as Charlie’s neighbour, allegedly barged into his home and assaulted him after he opened the door in response to a knock.
Who is Charlie Sheen?
Charlie Sheen, born Carlos Irwin Estévez on September 3, 1965, in New York City, is a well-known American actor from a family with strong ties to the entertainment industry. Notable for roles in films like “Platoon” and “Major League,” he gained significant fame.
In the 2000s, Sheen became a cultural phenomenon for his role in the TV series “Two and a Half Men,” but personal challenges and public behaviour led to his departure.
Beyond his professional life, Sheen has faced personal struggles, including issues related to substance abuse, and garnered media attention for his unconventional statements and behaviour. Charlie Sheen Career Overview
During the height of his career, Sheen was purportedly the highest-earning TV actor, commanding approximately £1.2 million per episode of “Two And A Half Men.” However, Sheen’s derogatory comments about the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, led to his removal from the sitcom, and Ashton Kutcher took over the role.
The series, which began in 2003 with Sheen portraying the hedonistic bachelor Charlie Harper, continued until 2015. Kutcher played a different lead character alongside Sheen’s former co-stars, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones.
What Went Wrong?
Responding to a battery call on Cavalleri Road around 1:00 p.m., deputies from the Malibu/Lost Hills Station confirmed Sheen as the assault victim, as reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to KTLA 5.
The suspect, identified as Electra Schrock, reportedly forced her way into Sheen’s home, attacking him by attempting to strangle him and tearing his shirt when he opened the door. Paramedics arrived, but Sheen, known for his role in “Two and a Half Men,” did not require hospitalization.
The suspect was arrested on charges including assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to cause great bodily injury and residential burglary. Sheen mentioned a previous incident where an unknown sticky liquid was reportedly squirted on his car but expressed uncertainty about the motive for the attack, according to TMZ.4
What Did Charlie Say?
Charlie is puzzled about what triggered the incident, but this doesn’t seem to be his first problem with her. He informed deputies that he thinks the same woman previously squirted a sticky liquid on his car.
According to a source close to Charlie, he had a conversation with the woman after the car incident, suggesting a resolution to their issues. Additionally, the woman reportedly dumped trash in front of Charlie’s door a day before the attack. Charlie himself made the 911 call.
