Takeoff, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was born on June 18, 1994, in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in the United States.

He was raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, U.S., by his mother, along with his brothers Quavo and Offset.

In 2008, he started rapping with Quavo and Offset, and their group was called Polo Club at the time. Under the name Migos, he put out his first album, Versace, in 2013.

After that, people thought of him as a multi-platinum star. In 2016, he made a big hit song called "Bad and Boujee."

He got to number one on the US music charts, and then he made a song with Nicki Minaj and Cardi B called "MotorSport," which was popular.
