Social Security Supplemental Income 2022: New $841 Checks To Drop Soon

A few days from now, millions of people in the United States will get their upcoming Social Security payments of $841 each month.

The next Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment of $841 will be sent out on November 1. The last SSI payment of the year will be sent out on December 1.

SSI payments are sent on the first business day of each month, provided that day does not fall on a weekend.

There are also months when two checks are sent because the first of the month may fall on a holiday.

Even though it's likely that some Americans will have to pay more into Social Security, they will get back more.

A worker who has reached the full retirement age (FRA) in 2022 is eligible to receive a maximum monthly benefit of $3,345.

But because prices and wages keep going up, the maximum payments at full retirement age are likely to go up next year.

To get the most monthly money, you need to meet these conditions: 1. Apply for Social Security at 70.

2. Work for at least 35 years. 3. Achieve or surpass the maximum allowable taxable income for all 35 years combined.
