Visit similacrecall.com to see a list of the affected lot numbers or look for a lot number checker on the site to find out if your product is affected.

Abbott's Columbus, Ohio facility made all recalled items. No other powdered or liquid brands were recalled.

This recall only affected a small number of formula bottles, therefore it shouldn't disrupt U.S. formula supplies.

These products are being recalled because the bottle caps on less than 1% of the bottles in the lots being recalled may not have sealed completely.

Abbott said in a statement that if spoiled food is eaten, it can cause stomach problems like diarrhoea and vomiting.

If you discover that a product you own is on the list, you must not use it and must instead dispose of it.
