New PS5 Reportedly Releasing In 2023

A new report from Tom Henderson at Inside-Gaming says that a new version of the PlayStation 5 with a removable disc drive will come out in 2023.

Sources told the site that this new PS5 model has been in the works since November 2020, when the PS5 first came out.

The new design is said to have a disc drive that can be taken off and connected to the PS5 through a USB-C port on the back of the console.

The site says that the PS5 will be sold alone or with a detachable disc drive, and that these rumored disc drives will be sold separately.

Nvidia's new flagship graphics processing unit (GPU) is called the RTX 4090. It has a memory capacity of 24 gigabytes of GDDR6X.

Nvidia says it will be able to run games at 4K with frame rates of more than 100fps while using the same amount of power as the RTX 3090 Ti.

The RTX 4090 has four times the performance of the RTX 3090 Ti when using DLSS 3, Nvidia's AI-based upscaling technology. The RTX 4090 starts at $1599 on October 12.

RTX 4080 comes in 12GB and 16GB variants. Nvidia says the 12GB card can outperform the 3090 Ti with DLSS 3.

The 12GB version starts at $899 and the 16GB version starts at $1199. Both will come out at some point in November.

Nvidia will also release RTX Remix, a software that makes it easy for modders to add RTX capabilities to older games.
