More than $2 million in Covid funding is being used to support the assistance program for low-income residents of Takoma Park, Maryland.
Officials claim that the program's goal is to assist Americans who have been affected by the outbreak.
Residents must have an annual income of less than $50,000 as of October 25 at 8 a.m. Only Americans who live in Takoma Park are eligible to apply.
Locals have been advised that donations are sent in priority order. Residents must provide proof of Takoma Park residency and apply online.
Americans may provide identifying documentation in the form of a benefits letter, tax paperwork, or photo ID card.
Additionally, individuals must provide documentation of a tax return from 2020 or 2021 proving their income is less than $50,000.
