California $1050 Child Tax Credit Checks: Millions Still Due

Child Tax Credit 2022 — This November, 1,050 dollars are due to millions of families; check to see when you can get the money.

MILLIONS of families in the state of California will be qualified to receive tax refunds of up to $1,050 per individual.

This is as a result of a brand-new effort for disaster assistance that is known as the Middle-Class Tax Refund.

Refunds to California residents with a total worth of $9.5 billion were issued in October and will continue to be issued up to January 2023.

About 23 million people will receive the money, which is part of a relief package with a total value of $12 billion that was authorized by California Governor Gavin Newsom in June.

The money will be distributed as part of the California Governor's Disaster Relief and Recovery Act of 2018.

Up until the beginning of January 2023, a payment ranging from $200 to $1,050 will be given to each eligible household.

In order to be eligible for a relief check, state residents had to have filed their tax returns for the year 2020 by the 15th of October in 2021.

Additionally, the rebate is not available to anyone who was eligible to be claimed as a dependent in the previous year.
