Boise $1000 Tax Rebate Checks: How To Request?

Families across the United States are struggling to make ends meet as a result of growing inflation and the costs of day-to-day living expenses.

However, thousands of taxpayers in the United States will be eligible to get a tax reimbursement of up to one thousand dollars.

This is because the state's Circuit Breaker Program, also known as the Property Tax Reduction Program, granted $1.2 million dollars to the city of Boise, Idaho.

For Idahoans who desire to access this tax refund, the Idaho State Tax Commission has specific eligibility restrictions.

The applicant must be an Idaho resident with a house worth less than $800,000 and a total income of no more than $32,230 after medical expenses are deducted.

Starting January 1, 2022, the following categories became eligible for this programme:

citizens over 65, former prisoners of war or hostages, blind impaired residents, widows, widowers, and fatherless children or children with a mother under 18.

Residents must have submitted their 2020 tax returns by October 15, 2021, resided in California for at least six months in 2020, and still live there.

Now Boise will introduce its own rebate programme, with an application deadline of May 2023. Eligible residents can start submitting applications in December.
