Alabama $200 Checks From $2 Billion Pot: Who’s Eligible?

A $2 billion excess will be handed to ALABAMIAN citizens very soon in the form of incoming checks    

The state of Alabama may issue checks next year as a result of a revenue surplus that the state got in 2022.

According to the Alabama Policy Institute, the government collected more than $13 billion in fiscal year 2022.

Senator Arthur Orr stated that the rebate may deliver $150-$200 to each taxpayer. People who are married and file jointly may be eligible for twice the amount.

Other rebates in Alabama

Alabama Power customers must purchase their smart thermostat by December 1, 2022 to be eligible.

Duke Energy, an Indiana-based utility business, is extending credit to consumers who are having difficulty paying their payments.

Other rebates available

Governor Kathy Hochul revealed that over 300,000 New York households are eligible for credit from a $567 million pot. California is also issuing rebates of up to $1,050.
