$750 Relief Checks: Millions Of Americans Still Eligible

Over a dozen states authorised various forms of financial assistance for people, such as rebates, stimulus checks, and tax credits.

Many of these states have opted to provide financial assistance to families in the form of child tax credits.

New York and Rhode Island are two of these states, with both offering payouts this month.

Residents of Rhode Island are eligible for up to $750, while New Yorkers are eligible for up to $270.

On September 8, Governor Kathy Hochul announced that qualified Additional Yorkers might receive up to $270 in new stimulus payments.

Checks will include one or both payments, with a minimum of $25 issued. Eligible New York residents will receive their checks automatically.

Qualified applicants will receive checks by Oct. 31. New Yorkers don't need to declare the payment when they file their 2022 income tax return.

Rhode Island households can get a $750 child tax rebate. No application is required for Rhode Island taxpayers with under-18 dependents.

Rebates will be provided beginning in December to individuals who take advantage of the October 17 extended filing deadline.
