When people think of New York, their minds automatically go to New York City. 5 hours north of the Big Apple, you’ll find New York State’s own wine country in Finger Lakes.

There are 11 lakes and more than 100 wineries in the area. 

A guided tour is the best way to experience the vast vineyards because you do not have to worry about choosing a designated driver. Many of the region’s wineries also offer gastropub-style dining options, all sourced locally.

Provence, France

Are you a rose drinker? Then head to the Provence area  in the south of France. Cities in this area include Nice, Saint-Tropez and Cannes, where you can enjoy your wine while hanging out on the beach and enjoying the beautiful landscape.
